Wash the peppers and roast them in the oven, then close them in a paper bread bag.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling: pour grated bread into a bowl, then add minced garlic, Parmesan, a grated slice of Provola Zappalà, salt, basil leaves, a pinch of black pepper and a drizzle of oil.

Mix everything up. Peel the peppers gently, remove the seeds, wash them and let them drain off. Afterwards, divide them into wide strips. Put a spoon of the prepared mixture in each pepper strip. Then, wrap it forming a roll.

Put the rolls in a baking dish with a drizzle of oil, a sprinkling of breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese and let them cook in the oven for a few minutes.
